Hello, My Name is Michelle and I have been quilting for 26 years and am still addicted.
I have had moments in my life when I have had to put my passion aside due to moving and life changes but have never lost that passion.
My favourite is Hand Applique. I am currently completing a Hand pieced Baltimore Album Quilt that I have been doing for 12 years. I had to put it away for quiet some time while I moved around and built a house. Now we all settled in the house and a few children have moved on I finally have a sewing room and have unpacked all my unfinished projects. My fabric collection finally has a new home and I now can play with my stash after all the years packed in boxes. My love is old and vintage quilts. I love floral and shabby chic designs mostly. I am currently collection French fabric to make an interesting quilt once I have completed all unfinished projects (yeah right)
I also do Embroidery, Cross Stitch, Knitting & Crochet and yes I also have lots of unfinished projects in these departments also. I am also enjoying playing the piano again since purchasing an old antique piano that is over a 100 years old.
I am hoping to post my completed projects on this blog and share my passion with like minded people and enjoy seeing other peoples works from around the world to inspire me.
